Reese Koffler Stanfield earned both a BS in Agricultural Economics from the College of Agriculture at the University of Kentucky and an MA in International Commerce from the prestigious Patterson School of International Diplomacy and Commerce at the University of Kentucky, while concurrently maintaining an International High Performance Dressage riding career. She possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for the effective functioning in the equestrian and international business milieu. She is conversant in German after spending almost two years at a prominent German facility. She has developed focus, initiative, and discipline through daily training and years of dedication to the sport of Dressage at all levels. Poised to represent her country and her home land of the bluegrass state of Kentucky in International Competition, Reese plans to continue her riding career in International High Performance Competitive Dressage, as well as riding, training, and coaching students and horses of all levels.


Reese Koffler Stanfield, United States Dressage Federation Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medalist, is a lifelong professional horseman born and raised in Kentucky who has successfully competed in the sport of Dressage since early childhood. She is one of the only United States Dressage Federation Certified Instructor/Trainers through Fourth Level in Region II, which encompasses five states. She is an excellent role model for Junior and Advanced Young Riders as she successfully participated in USDF Youth programs throughout her life including the Advanced Young Rider Program, culminating in numerous international medals while representing the United States and Region II (Kentucky and surrounding states). Her training and experience from junior rider through high performance competition gives her great empathy for her students during the learning process and she is well prepared to assist riders reach their goals in both individual and group lesson formats. She is now a sought after trainer and clinician who gives numerous clinics nationwide to all level of riders.

Reese is also a proven High Performance FEI rider who has been exceptionally well trained by Olympic Coach, Conrad Schumacher, Hofgut Neuhof, near Frankfort Germany from October 1998 – May 1999, and from November 2001- April 2002 and World-Class Trainer and Coach Kathy Connelly, Wellington Florida. Additionally, she has worked with Jessica Ransehousen, Ellen Bontje, and George Williams.

Reese currently rides the Grand Prix Dutch Gelding, Goubergh's Kasper. Reese and Kasper are coached by Kathy Connelly, and enjoyed a highly successful Florida season in 2008 leading the USEF - collecting Gaits National Grand Prix Championship, Gladstone, NJ. Reese is the principle Dressage Rider, Trainer, and Coach at Maplecrest Farm in Lexington, Kentucky and will open a new, state of the art Dressage Training Facility, Clover Creek Farm, in Fall 2009 in nearby Georgetown KY.
